This app can replace the use of traditional brix (sugar) tables. I have ported this app from my original program developed for the Palm PDA. I used this application in the production of grape juice concentrates.
The options available are:
* Brix to w/v: calculates the grams of sugar per litre of solution at any particular brix.
* w/v to brix: calculates the brix based on the sugar content (kg/L).
* Brix to SG: calculates the specific gravity of the solution at a brix level.
* Fold: calculates the fold of the concentrate based on the brix of the concentrate and final brix of the solution.
* Dilution: calculates the amount of concentrate and water required to make a volume of single strength solution.
